		<title>New Year&#8217;s Baby</title>
		<description><![CDATA[An Irvington family has the honor of welcoming the 2013 New Year’s Baby at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. Boden Bradley Goewey, son of Brad and Mindy Goewey of Irvington, arrived at 8:02 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, weighing 9 pounds, 7 ounces and being 21 inches long. He will be welcomed home by big brother Archie, 3-1/2 years old. Originally from the Pittsfield area, in Pike County between Springfield, Ill., and Hannibal, Mo., the Goeweys’ relocation to Irvington was job related. Brad is a football and basketball coach and teacher at Centralia High School where Mindy is a secretary. 		<description><![CDATA[Women undergoing cancer treatments are encouraged to attend “Look Good-Feel Better” when St. Joseph’s in Breese hosts the program from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the hospital HealthPlex. Following the session, the hospital’s new Wig Closet will be open. Participants are invited to bring a female support person to share this evening of fun and education. 		<description><![CDATA[Taking advantage of the Martin Luther King Day school holiday, St. Joseph’s in Breese will offer “For Babysitters Only” from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, in the hospital’s Heritage Room. Cost is $15 per student and class size is limited. Registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 18, or when class is full. “For Babysitters Only” is for boys and girls 10 years old and older who are just beginning or experienced babysitters and looking to review their skills and learn new information. 		<title>Senior Yoga Classes</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Senior Yoga, for those 55 years old and over, will be offered from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Mondays, beginning Jan. 21, and/or Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 23, at the St. Joseph-Breese HealthPlex. Classes will feature typical Yoga poses but with modifications to allow those in an older age bracket to participate, said hospital Physical Therapy Director Lynn Rinella.
